Face ID and Touch ID allow for quick login to the HSBC UK Mobile Banking app without needing to enter a password. Once logged in, our Digital Secure Key provides additional protection against fraud. To authorize transactions, simply generate a code using a PIN or password, or by using Face ID or Touch ID on supported devices.

Mobile cheque deposits
The HSBC UK Mobile Banking app allows you to deposit cheques without going to a branch. Select the account, enter the value, then scan the front and back of the cheque. Please keep any cheques until they show in your account. Daily limits apply.

Block your card
If you've misplaced your card and later found it, use the HSBC UK Mobile Banking app to temporarily block it with just a few taps. The block will remain until you unblock it or report it lost or stolen.

Balance After Bills
Balance After Bills helps you manage your finances from one payday to the next. It shows you how much you'll have available for the upcoming month after taking into account scheduled bills like standing orders, Direct Debits, credit cards, loans, and mortgages.

Gambling restriction
You can choose to restrict transactions made to gambling businesses such as casinos and online betting companies, as well as recurring transactions like The Postcode Lottery. This restriction is specific to individual cards held in your name.
